Ever wonder why Ross has these lightning rods attached to their carts? No they’re not wifi antennas or GPS tracking mechanisms as so many people have thought to believe.

They are meant to prevent shoppers from taking the cart outside. Apparently the polls are installed at a height that won’t let them pass through the doors.
